Tree Removal
Constant salt wind at Shoalhaven Heads leaves trees one sided, with the weight thrown away from the prevailing breeze and roots straining on the windward side. That imbalance changes how a tree has to come down. We plan the felling direction around the lean rather than against it, and use rigging where the block is too tight or the drop zone is over a fence, shed or caravan annexe.

Tree Pruning
Sandy soil holds water after heavy rain and a strong gust on top of that is enough to push a marginal tree over. We run a 24 hour callout for these jobs, and the first priority on arrival is making the area safe rather than starting the cut. Once hazards are isolated we remove the tree, clear access and leave the site tidy before we head off.
Stump Grinding
Trees here need more frequent attention than inland ones because salt burn and wind shear are constantly reshaping them. We remove dead and dying tips, reduce weight on the exposed side, and open the crown so gusts pass through. Getting this done before summer storms is the single most effective thing you can do to keep a coastal tree standing rather than replacing it later.

Land Clearing
Grinding in sandy ground is quick, but the hole needs backfilling properly or it slumps within a season. We take the stump well below grade, mix grindings back with soil and level the surface so the lawn stays even. Where the stump sits near a retaining wall or a septic line, we check what is underground before the wheel goes anywhere near it.
Vegetation Care
Blocks along the river flats are often being readied for a new build, a shed or a bigger yard. Clearing means taking out the wattle and scrub regrowth, removing any hazardous trees close to the building envelope and grinding the stumps so the ground can be levelled. We keep an eye on riparian and vegetation rules near the water and will tell you what needs approval first.
