Will lantana grow back after clearing?

Some regrowth is normal. A follow-up visit six to 12 months later knocks it back before it takes hold, with annual maintenance from that point on.

Is chemical treatment needed to control lantana?

Mechanical clearing removes the bulk of the plant. Targeted chemical treatment on cut stumps or regrowth is often used to reduce return, and should be applied by a licensed operator.

How long does it take to clear a lantana-infested block?

Timeframes depend on block size, slope and access. Most residential-scale blocks are cleared in one to three days, with rural acreage taking longer.

Our Service

Take Back Overgrown Blocks

Lantana and invasive weed removal in the Shoalhaven is what turns an unusable block back into something you can work with. Lantana, blackberry, camphor laurel and other invasives take over fast when a block is left alone. Gettin' It Done! Tree Services clears them out mechanically where possible, prepares the ground and hands the block back. Follow-up visits keep the regrowth in check.

How We Work

Systematic Clearing & Follow-Up

The first pass gets the bulk of the growth out. A follow-up visit typically six to 12 months later catches the regrowth before it takes hold again. From there most properties need only annual maintenance to stay on top of it. The gullies and steep blocks around Foxground, Kangaroo Valley, Berry and Jamberoo are where we do most of this work.
